Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus-June 28th

The month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Church celebrates this Solemnity on Friday, June 28. Devotion to the Sacred Heart is a wonderful, historical
expression of the Church’s piety for Christ, her Spouse and Lord. It calls for a fundamental attitude of conversion and reparation, love and gratitude,
apostolic commitment, and dedication to Christ and His saving work. In addition to the liturgical celebration, devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus are numerous and the most
widespread and popular devotions in the Church. They include personal and family consecration, litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart,
and the Practice of First Fridays.
First Friday Devotions will take place after the 11 a.m. Mass this Friday, June 7, to include morning prayer, exposition and benediction.
